Cinema Eye invites directors and producers with at least one feature doc credit to participate in this open conversation about key issues impacting our community.
Moderated by Cinema Eye Nominations Committee Chair Sean Farnel, our goal is to identify some common challenges and opportunities. And, knowing how engaged this community can be, we expect that this discussion will engender great ideas and actions
The discussion will revolve around several broad topics (Festivals, Funds, Distribution, etc.), though we are also open to submissions. This could be a creative issue, a business issue, a community issue, a master plan, a dangerous idea, a beef, a kudo, a haiku, a manifesto…well, you get the idea. Those selected will be given five minutes to introduce their topic, followed by a moderated discussion and some proposals for next steps.
