Submissions are now open; the fund is offering the following fellowships, which provide mentoring and opportunities to meet with HBO executives as well as funding:
- “Documentary Screen Test” – $50,000 for an emerging filmmaker in production on their first documentary feature
- “House I live in” – $25,000 towards the completion of a documentary based on the filmmaker’s personal story
- “Outside Looking in” for “an
extraordinary character-driven story, which aims to take audiences into
someone else’s world”
